Fishing

Swansea has at least 7 professional angling charter boats all of which will provide a traditional day's reef, wreck or mixed ground fishing at a fair price, for individuals and groups. These boats are usually moored at Fisherman's Wharf and details of their trips are available from Roger's Tackle on the quayside.

Unlike the vessels operated by these skippers, our RIB is not best suited for angling at anchor. However, it is eminently suitable for drift fishing with float, fly, spinner, feather or bait for a variety of sport fish.

The favourite will always be Bass but also available are Bream, Mullet, Mackerel, Pollack, Coalfish, Garfish, Gurnard, Turbot, Brill etc, Due to our high travelling speed many marks are more available to us than to other vessels, also giving us more fishing time once we get there.

We aim to be the boat to return to Swansea with the first of the summer mackerel.

A maximum of 6 anglers are taken on any trip which are carried out from the beginning of May through to the end of September, usually of 3 or four hours duration, in the evening.
